Recently married, I resigned from my day job to be a stay home husband, hold the fort down along with a dog, 3 cats and a teenage step-daughter. As things settled in I am getting back to my creative roots and the new life roles provides ample experiences to share which leads us to here.

I finally got a chance to get this giant beauty during one of their test flight. They did a ILS 16R approach to Paine Field (KPAE) and practiced a missed approach procedure and called in for a full stop landing at Boeing Field (KBFI). I knew it was big but I didn’t realize the scope of the sheer size until I saw it in person. It is very long and the wing span is so wide that they designed folding wingtip to be able to fit into existing gates. It is a build and expansion on the 777 platform with a lot of technologies borrowed from the 787 dreamliner design to make it more fuel efficient, cost effective and eco-friendly. The glass cockpit features making operations equally effective.
