My wife and I in LEGO form.
My love for LEGO started at a young age when I first moved to America. My aunt lived in Germany, West Germany back then. When she visited she would visit she would bring really nice sets. I group up with a lot of the classic 80’s space set and technic sets. I kept collecting them thru my teens to a point where I had a huge army duffel bags worth. Unfortunately, one day I came home from school only to find out my mother had donated all my Lego. I was pretty devastated. It wasn’t out of bad intention. She gave it to a friend that her kids didn’t have a lot toys so in retrospect it was for a good cause but I always wonder the gold mine I would have in my hands now knowing how popular Lego has become again. So now I satisfy my inner child with bot new and vintage sets.
