Evrim, an import from the city on seven hills. Now residing in the greater Seattle area by way of NY/NJ. Recently married, I resigned from my day job to be a stay home husband, hold the fort down along with a dog, 3 cats and a teenage step-daughter. What is a Subaru Ambassador ? After the inquiry about the Panda, it is probably the other most asked question. Mainly because I am probably wearing some sort of gear or clothing that has the Subaru or Subaru Ambassador logo on it. I can see peoples eyes focus towards it and read it out loud as they ask me, “Subaru Ambassdor..What’s that ?”

The way I answer and explain this question is as follows; It is a group of energetic and positive Subaru owners who volunteer their time to support and share the culture around Subaru and the Subaru brand itself. We are an extension of Subaru. We love and promote the brand through initiatives and programs that align with their global views. Such things as promoting animals and pets, the environment, and communities. Regarding my history with Subaru I would say that in general, I am a bit of a gear head. I love cars and vehicles of all sorts in general. I like a variety of motor sports as well, top two mainly being stage rally like WRC (World Rally Championship) and Formula 1. As I’ve grown up and acquired my driving licence and owned and driven a myriad of different cars, I didn’t come across my first Subaru until about two years before moving to WA so circa 2012/13. I’ve always appreciated them as they have a significant rally racing heritages and history but I thought I would never own one or afford one.

Upon acquiring my first one, the rest is history. My appreciation, passion, and interest in the brand bloomed and fast forward December 2019 We purchased our fourth and first brand new Subaru, a 2020 Outback XT (turbo) Onyx Edition. It is called, THE PANDA WAGON, and you can read more about it on this site and follow its adventures through the relevant social media outlets.
